Mission

The mission of the UC Merced Stem Cell Consortium is to:

• Understand stem cell biology using dynamic interdisciplinary approaches and tools, with the ultimate goal of assisting the development of regenerative medicine
• Provide high-quality training for the next generation of stem cell biologists and engineers
• Educate the public on stem cell research and promote science education at all levels
